Senior Manager Operational Risk

Group Company: AU Small Finance Bank Limited Designation: Senior Manager Operational Risk Office Location: Mumbai Experience: 2+ years Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and enhance the Bank's Operational Risk Management framework, including risk governance, policies, standards, tools, and methodologies. Partner with business and support functions to facilitate identification, assessment, monitoring, and mitigation of key operational risks across the organization.

Provide advisory support on operational risk governance, control frameworks, risk assessments, and policy implementation to business units and stakeholders. Conduct independent reviews of operational risk exposures and evaluate the effectiveness of risk controls and mitigation strategies. Analyze operational loss events, Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA), Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), and other risk metrics to identify emerging trends and vulnerabilities.

Prepare and present periodic risk reports, dashboards, and insights to senior management and Board/Risk Committees, highlighting key risk exposures, control gaps, loss trends, and remediation actions. Identify, assess, and escalate systemic operational risks and emerging threats while ensuring the adequacy of preventive and detective controls.

Monitor regulatory developments and industry best practices to ensure continuous enhancement of operational risk processes and compliance standards. Promote risk awareness and a strong risk culture through training sessions, workshops, and sharing of lessons learned and best practices. Review and assess the adequacy of insurance coverage programs to ensure appropriate protection against operational risk exposures.

Manage risk management systems and reporting platforms to support effective risk analysis, governance, and decision-making. Manage the Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) framework, including vendor due diligence, risk assessments, ongoing monitoring, and governance to safeguard the organization from operational, compliance, cyber, and reputational risks.
