System Design Engineer Dublin Leinster

Main Responsibilities: To be an expert in technical aspects of Audio-visual installation and operation in CT Ireland To help design and draw system layouts/configurations for tenders and projects, including mechanical and electrical drawings. To provide technical expertise to the Sales Representatives when scoping a project.

To help source hardware solutions to meet project designs. To provide cabling schedules, cable labeling, IP network tables. To work with Project Management Office, Install Engineers, Commissioning Engineers, Pre, and Post Sales Tech when clarifications or design updates are required. To support the Technical Director in all design aspects and to backup during times of leave Attend site visits when required to gather more information for the design or help Sales Representatives explain technical aspects of the designs.

Electronic Engineering 3rd level qualification Electrical Engineering 3rd level qualification Mechanical Engineering 3rd level qualification AVIXA (CTS-D, CTS-I) Licenses/Certificates: Safe Pass Manual handling Autocad/Stardraw Manufacturer certificates Basic programming/configuration of control systems Experience: AV system design AV system installation IT Networking IT Infrastructure AV control system design and configuration AV rack building experience This role is a fixed term maternity leave cover.
