Sales Merchandiser Field-Based | Retail Accounts | Beverage Distribution Looking for an active, hands-on position where you can work independently while building relationships with local customers? Mitchell Companies is hiring a Merchandiser to support our sales and delivery teams by ensuring products are stocked, rotated, and displayed according to company standards.

This is a field-based position for someone who takes pride in presentation, enjoys working with customers, and can stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Why Work with Mitchell? Annual salary range: $40,000-$42,000 Field-based position with daily travel to local retail accounts Opportunity to work closely with Sales Representatives and Route Assistants Hands-on experience in sales, merchandising, delivery, and beverage distribution Stable, year-round work with an established company Opportunity to build long-term relationships with local customers Variety of daily responsibilities in retail and warehouse environments Training and development opportunities What You'll Do Deliver, rotate, stock, and display products at retail accounts Merchandise products according to company standards and promotional plans Install and maintain permanent and temporary point-of-sale (POS) materials Support monthly team-selling initiatives Build professional relationships with store owners and managers Learn account layouts, products, and designated display areas Respond to customer requests and escalate unresolved issues when needed Provide route coverage when needed, including delivering products, collecting payments, rotating stock, and executing sales tickets Assist with truck loading each morning Maintain clean and organized POS rooms, work areas, and loading zones Report equipment damage, product loss, or safety concerns to management Handle and transport draft beer equipment and coolers when required What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED required Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required Previous beverage distribution, merchandising, or warehouse experience preferred Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic knowledge of beverage rotation, inventory handling, and merchandising principles Good interpersonal and customer service skills Strong attention to detail and time management skills Ability to safely operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and related warehouse equipment Reliable, professional, and customer-focused attitude Schedule Field-based position | Daily travel to retail accounts The schedule may include early mornings, weekends, holidays, and special event coverage based on business needs.

Physical Requirements This is an active merchandising and delivery support position.
