Overview

Steelhead Bar & Grille is currently hiring for part time cook positions. Minimum 1 year experience. Hours would range between 18-30 per week. Steelhead Bar & Grille offers casual dining with a Northwest flair. Locally owned and in downtown Spokane, we cater to locals and tourist alike. Our customers come from all walks of life and from all over the world.

We are looking for staff members that have the desire to bring our customers the best possible dining experience. Our staff is professional, fun and understands what it means to provide quality food and service. They have their own unique style and flair. Whenever possible, Steelhead Bar & Grille makes every effort to promote local businesses and bring locally sourced, Northwest inspired flavors to the table.

Wage

• Pay range for position: $18.00 too $20.00 per hour
• Earn weekly tips Responsibilities/Duties
• Follow all policies and procedures
• On time and attend all meetings
• Stock and set up kitchen stations
• Ensure that all food products and menu items meet company recipe specifications for preparation, quality and preparation
• Work with front of house staff to ensure that orders are completed according to food & service standards and on time
• Complete all assigned opening, running, closing duties and side work
• Ensure sanitation and food safety procedures, regulations and laws are strictly followed
• Ensure a safe working environment to reduce the risk of incident, injury and food handling related issues *Please note, job duties are subject to change at the company’s discretion. Skills/Experience
• Washington State Food Worker Card (WSFWC)
• Two (2) years previous cooking experience in a professional and fast paced environment preferred
• Willing to work a flexible schedule and weekends
• Ability to multitask efficiently
• Familiar with kitchen equipment and appliances
• Strong work ethic, reliable, aware of the details
• Team player with a courteous, friendly and professional demeanor
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
