Grounds Technician

Love the success and return we provide. At RR Living, we are a part of something special. We are hiring an experienced Housekeeper to oversee the upkeep of common areas and vacant apartments. We are looking for an entrepreneurial-minded person who is goal and team oriented. This job context involves the grounds surrounding multifamily housing complexes. The specifics tasks of this position are performed in all weather conditions. This position involves the use of chemicals/cleansers. Prepares and cleans vacant units to prepare for move-ins. General housekeeping in community areas of property and management office. Recycles appropriate materials in accordance with training procedures. Reports any broken items to management. Exterior and interior painting. Removes trash from grounds and units. Responsible for ensuring the grounds are free from any and all trash. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

General Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Proven background working with a team providing strong communication and reliability Must be willing and able to work effectively and efficiently as a member of a professional apartment maintenance team. Must be willing and able to work effectively and efficiently on an independent basis.

Proven background in reliability and customer service mindset are requirements. Must be willing and able to effectively interact with a wide variety of personalities, maintaining excellent public relations on an ongoing basis. Achieve Fair Housing certification prior to interaction with prospects or residents. Knowledge of OSHA laws and regulations.

Participate in training to comply with new or existing laws. Be able to work evenings and weekends. Present self in a neat, clean and professional manner at all times throughout the workday and/or whenever present at the community.

Physical Demands and Work Environment: This job context is a multifamily housing complex, indoors and outdoors in all kinds of weather. This is a physically demanding job. The general maintenance employee must be able to walk, stand, and sit for extended periods of time, climb stairs, climb ladders, shovel snow and ice, move appliances and work with a variety of equipment.
