Overview

National Technology Integrators is a national AV, security, and IT contractor. Our key services include design and consulting, integration, and system support. At NTI, we stay curious and embrace the constantly evolving nature of our industry. We’re always looking at new technologies and techniques as they surface, ensuring that our services are up-to-date and that we provide the most value for our clients.

Description The On-Site Material Tracker (OSMT) is responsible for every piece of material on their assigned project sites. They receive and document deliveries, run the laydown space, keep inventory accurate in D-Tools and Fishbowl, and keep the PM and field team informed. Each OSMT typically covers two projects, alternating between them every other day.

Responsibilities

Receiving and deliveries Receive all material arriving on site; nothing is accepted without a packing slip. Direct deliveries to the laydown space. When material must go straight to the install location, make sure the packing slip is checked and signed and that it is received only by approved personnel (a PM team member, Foreman or Superintendent).

Scan and file every packing slip. Inventory and systems Receive material into D-Tools and Fishbowl the same day it arrives. Perform regular inventory counts and site reviews to find issues or misplaced material. Import sales orders to “ship” material pulled from the laydown space. Support catalog cleanup and site audits when a project needs them.

Laydown space Keep the laydown space organized, secured and labeled: shelving, lockbox, fencing, job site camera and pallet jack security. Wrap and label material, using tamper-indicator stickers where required. Make sure unwrapped material is used first. Maintain clipboard sign-out sheets so anything taken while the OSMT is away is recorded with item and quantity.

Manage returns: returned material goes to the designated return area and is sorted. Communication Track delivery advance notices and plan the day around them. Keep the PM and field team updated on material status. Raise on-site issues through the path of escalation: Foreman & Supervisor, then Superintendent & PM, then Senior PM & Director.

Qualifications

& Requirements Required Able to problem solve and work independently Able to multitask Able to be on their feet for extended periods of time Able to lift 50lbs Strong communication skills, comfortable working with PMs, superintendents, foremen and field crews.
