Key Responsibilities

Pack products that exceed customer and industry quality expectations, while improving sales yields on all product lines Prevent food safety and foreign material incidents Responsible for directing, controlling, and coordinating all aspects of plant production in order to maximize the profitability for the company Work with team members to develop good working relationships and high moral through a quality training and communication program Manager labor expenses to reduce cost/lb.

Responsible for coordination and alignment with shipping Meet the highest standards of safety compliance, including ergonomic review and improvements to ensure ergonomically safe working environment. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for 8-10 hours per day; free use of hands and free range of arm movement; ability to bend repeatedly at the waist for 8-10 hours per day; ability to safely walk to and in the plant; ability to properly wear personal protective equipment, sanitary equipment, and any other equipment necessary for certain departments Skills and Knowledge: Communication skills (listening, feedback, presentation) Computer skills: complex spreadsheets and powerful yet simple presentations Teambuilding and the ability to work through others to accomplich tasks Basic human psychology Management and coaching skills Knowledge of federal, state, and local requirements and guidelines necessary to operate a raw processing facility and an understanding of HACCP, SSOPs, and GMPs In-depth knowledge of facility operations, people, products, equipment, and procedures Competencies: Core Competencies Integrity Simplicity Discipline Teamwork Servant Leadership Job Specific Competencies Self-starting Attention to details
