Field Application Engineer

We’re proud to be experts in what we do and are looking for a Field Application Engineer to join our team. The Role Reporting into the Technical Support Director, as a Field Application Engineer, you will be interfacing with our customers, project managers, and their engineering teams to assist in the definition and use of our solutions such as our single-board computers or systems.

You will also act as a team leader working closely with other application engineers to ensure that prompt and proper technical support is provided to our customers. What will I be delivering? This role will consist of two major functions: Face-to-face customer support acting as a technical expert. Team leader to help strengthen the team in our US office.

This is a fast-paced role where it is critical to be commercially aware as well as customer focused and will be an office-based role with travel to customer sites at short notice. What do I need to bring with me? Demonstrated knowledge and experience Previous experience working directly with customers. High level knowledge of embedded engineering. Pre- and post-sales customer support. Technical skills and qualifications: Technical knowledge of VPX and its ecosystem for deployable ruggedized systems.

Technical knowledge of Linux, Windows & VxWorks. Embedded System assembly and integration.
