Mainframe Technical Lead

Responsibilities

Lead Mainframe application support, development, and modernization initiatives. Manage and mentor a team of Mainframe developers and support engineers. Drive technical design, code reviews, and architecture discussions for Mainframe applications. Oversee production support activities, batch processing, incident management, and problem resolution. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and define technical solutions. Ensure application stability, performance, availability, and compliance with organizational standards. Lead release management, deployment planning, and change management activities. Perform root cause analysis for critical incidents and implement preventive measures. Support modernization efforts involving APIs, cloud integration, and DevOps practices. Coordinate with Infrastructure, DBA, Middleware, and Operations teams for end-to-end solution delivery.
