The Electric Transmission & Distribution Team, comprised of roughly 10,100 coworkers, is responsible for ensuring the electric grid's reliability and resiliency through the ongoing maintenance and operations of PG&E's 100,000 miles of distribution lines and over 18,000 miles of transmission lines. Coworkers in Electric Transmission & Distribution actively engage in the Lean Methodology through the use of visual management in operating reviews to cross-functionally identify and solve problems, and create standard work.

Position Summary

Manages aspects of program implementation and operations. Ensures program is operating effectively. This position is hybrid, working from your remote office with in-office attendance based on business needs. There are multiple positions available serving the North Bay, Sonoma and Fresno areas. PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting.

This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.

Bay Minimum: $105,000 Bay Maximum: $169,000 &/OR CA Minimum: $100,000 CA Maximum: $161,000 This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs.

Job Responsibilities

Completes moderate to complex problems and takes a new perspective on existing solutions plan and goals. Works independently on most issues. Provides direction on overall program plan and goals. Responsible for most/all deliverables within the program implementation plan. Communicates findings and recommendations to various levels of management.

Develops budget forecasts, conducts analysis in support of identifying budget variances and develops solutions to address. Develops new and ad-hoc reports, summarizes findings and recommendations and provides business insight Qualifications Minimum: Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience Job-related experience, 6 years Ability to travel up to 20% of working time Desired: Advanced knowledge of Program Management Ability to communicate findings and recommendations to various levels of management.

Ability to effectively manage multiple projects with demanding time constraints. Knowledge and understanding of business drivers. Demonstrated ability to manage or direct teams Ability to work within a Regulatory environment Ability to assess and recommend solutions for assigned projects Knowledge of energy industry applications to local level customers, including energy issues, customer energy efficiency applications, and general customer information.
