Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) FT Nights

This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus The RRT is to provide respiratory care for all patients in all areas of NMC. Responsible for airway management procedures (including but not limited to oxygen therapy, ventilator set up and maintenance, emergency procedures, respiratory therapy treatment modalities), arterial punctures, and EKG procedures to patients in assigned areas.

Responsible for complete documentation according to the hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Reports change in status of patient and/or patient diagnostic procedure results to physician and/or appropriate hospital personnel. Minimum Education: Graduate of accredited school of respiratory care Minimum Experience: Complete clinical rotation Required Certification: NBRC Registry, CPR Required Licensure: Texas Department of Health Skills: Routine therapy, ER-ICU critical care, airway management, ventilator care, ABG’s (for all age groups) ** Note – Required certifications are to be completed by 3 months of employment.
