Assistant Environmental Specialist 3

GAI Consultants is seeking an Assistant Environmental Specialist 3 to support the Wisconsin Environmental Team.

Responsibilities include

reviewing and documenting environmental resources for energy projects, environmental permitting, and project compliance coordination. Work may be performed remotely, in-office, or in a hybrid setting. Field duties include stormwater compliance monitoring, wetland and waterway studies, rare species habitat assessments, and FERC hydropower relicensing support.

The role assists with data collection, report preparation, and permitting documents. Candidates should possess knowledge of environmental permitting regulations or a desire to develop these skills while supporting a variety of environmental project tasks under the direction of Task and Project Manager
