Loan Closer

We are seeking a highly capable Syndicated Loans Closer to join our EMEA Loan Trading team in London. This is a critical execution role within a fast-paced secondary loans environment, offering exposure to complex transactions, cross-border stakeholders, and high-value deal flow.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the closing and settlement of secondary loan trades, ensuring all transactions are completed efficiently and within agreed timelines. Review finance documentation and prepare, validate and execute all required transfer documentation, engaging legal counsel where appropriate. Liaise with lenders, agent banks, borrowers and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of trade settlements.

Ensure transferability conditions, legal requirements and KYC obligations are fully satisfied prior to closing. Partner with Operations to confirm accurate cash flows, fee payments and settlements. Maintain accurate trade records across systems including Clear. Par and Loantrak. Manage documentation, audit trails and ongoing requirements such as amendments, waivers and lender communications.
