Accounting Assistant

Kraemer North America is currently looking for an Accounting Assistant to join our team in our Plain, WI office. The Accounting Assistant supports the accounting team by performing clerical tasks, including processing and recording transactions, preparing reports, fielding communications with vendors, fact checking, filing, and other duties as needed.

Responsibilities

estimates, change orders, sub-contractor vouchers, etc. Coordinate delivery and return of subcontractor paperwork Assist in preparation of state pre-qualifications, licenses and annual reports Gather contract information for final job closeouts General ledger and bank account reconciliations Collect and file monthly job cost and financial statement data Respond to internal and external requests for reports, etc.

Provide customer service via phone calls, emails, general inquiries, etc. Assist processing of payroll including certified payrolls Assist processing of accounts payable Process daily cash receipts Qualifications Associate’s degree in accounting/finance or 3 years related experience Familiarity with basic accounting principles Experience in computer reporting, spreadsheets, and databases Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive Strong attention to detail Ability to prioritize and organize tasks Effective verbal and written communication skills Benefits Medical & Dental Insurance Paid Parental Leave 401(k) Savings Plan with company match Profit Sharing Health Care Reimbursement Plan Life Insurance & Dependent Life Insurance Short-Term & Long-Term Disability Holidays/Vacation/Sick Pay Educational Assistance Computer Purchase Program Wage Range: $23–$27/hr.

Base wage is dependent on multiple factors: education, experience, skills, market rates, internal equity and/or location.
