Job description

Ready to help translate NTG's climate ambitions into practical initiatives and measurable results? At NTG, sustainability is becoming an increasingly important part of how we operate, grow, and create long-term value. As reporting requirements evolve and expectations increase, we're looking for an ESG Consultant who can help strengthen our ESG reporting, data governance, and climate agenda across the Group.

This is an opportunity to join a growing ESG function where you'll work at the intersection of sustainability, data, compliance, and business transformation. You'll collaborate with stakeholders across our international organisation and play a key role in ensuring that ESG becomes a stronger and more integrated part of how we work.

What you’ll be stepping into NTG is a global logistics company operating across road, air, and sea freight with activities in more than 26 countries. Our organisation is built on local entrepreneurship, strong customer relationships, and a decentralised structure that gives our companies the freedom to operate close to the market.

As ESG Consultant, you will have an important role in coordinating and managing the collection, validation, consolidation, and analysis of ESG data across NTG's global organisation in collaboration with the ESG team. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) process.

Further, you will play a key role in guiding the transformation and implementation of GHG emission reduction initiatives in our business operations. Your key responsibilities Coordinate the collection, validation, and consolidation of ESG data from Group entities. Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of reported ESG information.

Support the preparation and delivery of CSRD-compliant sustainability reporting. Maintain and improve controls and governance processes related to ESG data reporting. Analyse sustainability data and identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Prepare documentation, evidence, and reporting packages for external auditors.

Act as a key point of contact during ESG audit and assurance activities and present data and methodologies to audit teams. Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of ESG policies, processes, and reporting frameworks. Participate in the implementation of greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction targets and roadmaps.

Drive and support the implementation of climate-related initiatives and reporting tools across a complex and decentralised organisation. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve ESG awareness, reporting quality, and regulatory compliance. Monitor developments in ESG regulations, reporting standards, and best practices.

What we’re looking for You bring 5+ years’ experience working with ESG reporting, sustainability disclosures, and ESG data management, along with a solid understanding of how data, governance, and reporting support both compliance and business decision-making. You're comfortable navigating complex requirements and turning them into practical solutions.

Whether it's strengthening data quality, supporting audits, or driving reporting processes, you take ownership and ensure things move forward. You’re curious, solution-oriented, and not afraid to challenge the way things are done. Whether it’s internal processes or senior stakeholders and external partners, you know how to push for better ways of working while building strong relationships.

You’ve worked in international, multi-entity setups where complexity is part of the job, and you thrive in a decentralised, fast-moving environment. Structure isn’t always given - but that doesn’t slow you down. You create clarity, take ownership, and ensure things move forward with a pragmatic, hands-on approach. On the technical side, you have hands-on experience with CSRD reporting and sustainability disclosure requirements, as well as a solid understanding of ESG reporting frameworks and greenhouse gas accounting principles.

Experience supporting climate-related initiatives and translating reduction targets into action will be a strong advantage. You communicate confidently in English and are comfortable working internationally across cultures and markets. Ready to help build the foundations for NTG's next chapter in sustainability? If you are passionate about sustainability, enjoy working with complex datasets, and thrive in an environment where accuracy, collaboration, and continuous improvement are valued, we would love to hear from you.

Send your resume/CV with a short cover letter as soon as possible as we interview on a continuous basis.
