- Full Time Location: Orange Park, FL 32073 Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and skilled PreOp PACU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Orange Park, FL. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional nursing care to patients in the Pre-Operative and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) settings, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process.

**Responsibilities**

Assess and prepare patients for surgery in the Pre-Operative area. Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia in the PACU, ensuring stable vital signs and managing pain effectively. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care. Document patient care accurately and timely in accordance with ASC policies.

Educate patients and their families about post-operative care and recovery expectations. Respond promptly to patient emergencies and changes in condition. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Perform Crash Cart and environmental check offs. Complete PAT calls and coordinate patient schedule. Organize medication room and verify adequate medications are available for cases.

**Qualifications**

Current and valid RN license in the state of Florida. Experience in Pre-Operative and PACU nursing preferred. Strong assessment and critical thinking skills. Expert IV starting skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. BLS and ACLS certification required.
