We believe that quality care for infants involves loving care routines, developmentally appropriate activities, and trusting relationships with parents/other caregivers.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care to children ages 12 weeks to 16 months. Work with classroom teachers in the daily running of the classroom. This includes care routines, parent communication, and thoughtful activities & experiences, Be flexible to accommodate daily schedule changes. Supervise classroom aides. Foster relationships and communication with children, families and staff.

Be a Christian role model for children, parents and other staff.

Requirements

Have a minimum of 2-year degree in Early Childhood or related field Meet DHS staff qualifications and training requirements Attend Staff meetings, training sessions and family events Maintain a neat and clean physical appearance. Able to see, hear, think and move quickly to supervise children safely Able to lift and carry children (maximum of 40 pounds).
