Senior .NET Developer

Position: Senior .NET Developer Location: Toronto, ON Job ID#: RQ11745 Duration: 9 Months Role Overview We are seeking a Senior .NET Developer to support a large-scale modernization initiative involving the implementation and integration of a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution. This role will focus on system integration, application development, testing, deployment, and operational readiness activities while ensuring compliance with security, privacy, and accessibility standards.

The successful candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendor partners to design, develop, integrate, test, and support secure, scalable, and sustainable technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Development & Integration Support the implementation and configuration of a SaaS-based solution. Develop and maintain integrations between enterprise systems and the SaaS platform. Translate business requirements, functional specifications, integration requirements, and technical designs into tested solution components.

Support deployment activities and post-implementation stabilization. Testing & Quality Assurance Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), performance testing, and deployment readiness assessments. Analyze defects, perform troubleshooting, and implement remediation activities. Ensure solution quality and operational readiness before production deployment.

Technical Collaboration Collaborate with technical teams, infrastructure specialists, security teams, business stakeholders, and vendor resources. Resolve technical issues and manage dependencies impacting project milestones. Support knowledge transfer activities and documentation efforts. Database & Data Management Design, build, model, and configure database management solutions.

Develop backup and restoration procedures. Implement user administration procedures using Azure Active Directory. Perform database tuning, performance monitoring, capacity planning, forecasting, and data migration activities. Support development teams with database design activities. Development Best Practices Establish best practices for development, testing, quality assurance, and deployments.

Participate in code reviews and quality assurance activities. Support CI/CD pipeline development and automation. Apply industry-standard accessibility, security, and architectural best practices. Required Qualifications Mandatory Skills 10+ years of experience building and maintaining secure, scalable web and desktop applications using Microsoft Azure and .

NET technologies. Demonstrated experience with full software development life cycle implementation using: Microsoft Azure .NET / .NET Core C# MVC Entity Framework ReactJS HTML5 CSS JavaScript Azure DevOps Azure Web Apps Azure Functions Azure Logic Apps Experience with DevOps CI/CD pipelines. 5+ years of experience designing, building, modelling, and configuring database management solutions.

Experience in data modelling, reporting, and dashboard development. Experience working within Agile software development environments. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, vendors, business stakeholders, and technology partners. Technical Experience Azure SQL Database Azure Active Directory CI/CD Pipeline Development Code Review and Quality Assurance Performance Monitoring and Database Optimization Backup and Recovery Procedures Data Migration Activities Accessibility Standards Security Best Practices Enterprise Application Development Additional Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Experience diagnosing and resolving complex system issues. Ability to assess business needs and develop effective technology solutions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to research and adopt emerging technologies and development practices. Preferred Experience Experience working within large enterprise environments.

Experience supporting public-sector application development initiatives. Experience collaborating across multiple business and technology stakeholder groups. Knowledge Transfer Participate in knowledge transfer activities throughout the assignment. Ensure all design artifacts, documentation, and source code are maintained in approved repositories.
