Structural Engineering Co-op/Intern

Passero Associates’ Rochester, NY Office has an exciting paid Structural Engineering Co-op/Intern opportunity to work on a diverse range of structural engineering projects. This position offers tremendous potential for gaining professional experience in a great working environment and the opportunity to apply the latest technology to help our clients solve their most challenging problems.

Typical projects involve structural design and analysis on a diverse range of structural projects including commercial, municipal, institutional and multi-family residential.

Responsibilities

Production of structural construction drawings, specifications and reports using CAD/BIM technology Construction administration support including project site visits and shop drawings reviews Maintains high standards of professional and ethical conduct Qualifications/ Experience: Pursuing BS degree in Civil Engineering / Structural emphasis preferred Immediate Availability and/or through 2027 Working knowledge of Revit preferred Prior structural and/or civil engineering co-op/intern experience, a plus Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook Strong communication skills Valid driver’s license; personal vehicle About Passero: founded in 1972, Passero Associates has a staff of more than 180 professionals in nine offices providing high-quality, value-oriented architecture, aviation, civil and structural engineering, planning, transportation, and survey services throughout the northeastern, southeastern, and midwestern United States.
