Social Worker QMHP

Job Description​ Saint Luke's Hospital is seeking Licensed, Master's degreed Social Worker who provides behavioral emergency level health assessments in collaboration with a medical team of physicians and registered nurses. Shift: Thursday & Friday, 7am - 7pm Highly trained behavioral health professional who demonstrates autonomy and critical thinking skills and consultation in handling emergent psychiatric crises.

Collaborates with members of health care team in development of a transition plan and addresses needs in a timely manner . Participates in program planning and development to meet the needs of customers within the health care system and community. Provides patient and family education. The QMHP / Social Work team in the ED are consulted on patients with a positive mental health history in order to provide needed mental and behavioral health services and follow up, in addition to the consults requesting assistance with the three social determinants of health identified by the ED triage process.

This Social Worker will answer consults on patients being evaluated in the Emergency Department .

Requirements

Current Missouri LCSW, LMSW or LPC license 1 year applicable QMHP related experience Prefer 2 year QMHP experience Job Requirements Applicable Experience: 1 year Licensed Masters Social Worker
