Substitute Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

The Consolidated School District of New Britain is accepting applications for substitute Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN). Anticipated Start Date: To Be Determined POSITION DETAILS Requirements: Current State of Connecticut Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (proof required). One year of experience as an LPN. Current BLS certification.

Ability to function autonomously. Strong communication and critical thinking skills. Experience documenting visit notes in electronic medical records. Ability to work with diverse populations. Experience with tracheostomies and feeding tubes. Additional Details: Experience in the following areas is preferred: Pediatrics, Emergency Medicine/Triage, or Public Health nursing.
