POSITION SCOPE The Product Data Coordinator, EU Specifications & Compliance is a regional Product Data role responsible for maintaining accurate, controlled product information and translating approved supplier, technical and regulatory input into complete, traceable and compliant UK and EU product specifications and related documentation.

The role supports product launches, ongoing portfolio management, audit readiness and cross-functional execution through effective use of the company’s Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system, providing dedicated specification and compliance support for UK and EU business needs. DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES Own assigned product and specification records in PLM and support associated SAP product data requirements, ensuring information is accurate, complete, current and traceable.

Coordinate product data creation, review, approval and change workflows in accordance with established governance, templates, naming conventions and standard operating procedures. Create, review and maintain finished-product specifications using approved supplier, formulation, manufacturing, quality, packaging, Artwork and regulatory source information.

Validate the consistency of product attributes and supporting evidence, including ingredient, allergen, nutrition, claims, packaging, and supplier documentation. Enable effective management of product and compliance data, ensuring supporting evidence is available to support regulatory, quality, and operational processes and referenced where appropriate.

Support audit and inspection readiness by maintaining complete data in specifications and striving for continued data accuracy excellence across teams. Role combines product data execution with defined UK-EU specification and compliance responsibilities. It is accountable for data completeness, traceability and application of approved requirements; regulatory strategy and novel or high-risk legal interpretation remain with Regulatory Affairs or Legal.

Practical experience using PLM, ERP/SAP, specification databases, Excel or comparable digital product data systems.

Working knowledge of UK and EU food labelling, specification and documentation requirements, with the ability to apply approved requirements and recognise when escalation is needed. Experience translating data into clear reports, visualisations, presentations or written insights for different stakeholder groups, using Power BI or similar reporting tools where appropriate.

Strong organisation, prioritisation and excellent communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across regions and functions. Experience maintaining finished-product specifications, managing supplier technical documentation and supporting artwork, pack-copy, customer-documentation or audit-readiness activities.
