Job description
Hill International is seeking a Project Manager I in San Diego, California Provide leadership for the planning, development, and implementation of small scale, low-complexity business and technology projects. Effectively collaborate with internal departments, stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and vendors to define requirements, assess alternatives and present solutions to business challenges.
Responsible for budget and resource planning. Single point of contact for all economic and regulatory issues for the assigned projects. Develop and maintain project parameters for project requirements. Manage and coordinate all activities leading to the successful completion of large-scale, major strategic projects including project scoping, timelines, cost estimates, and design.
Build business cases and project justifications. B.S. in Engineering, Business Management, or equivalent field; equivalent experience with customer approval. Minimum 3-5 years experience providing direct project management pertaining to construction projects: Electrical/Gas Substation, Compressor, Transmission, Distribution, IT, or Civil projects.
PMP preferred, Agile or other Program Management certifications, training or demonstrated experience with customer approval. Must be able to assess the potential financial impact of a project to the Company. Must possess the ability to review complex problems and propose innovative solutions. Must be able to build solid business cases/project justifications.
Must be local to San Diego, CA and willing to work a hybrid schedule. The salary range for this position is $110,000-$120,000. The offered salary will be based on the applicants qualifications, education, experience and work location.
