• Laborer is responsible for ensuring proper sorting of materials on the conveyor are being removed and placed in corresponding containers. Reports To Operations Manager Inspect and sort materials according to size, type and condition Keep work area and all surrounding areas clean Report all unsafe work conditions or equipment issues immediately to supervisor Attend and participate in safety meetings Wear required personal protective equipment at all times Perform other job duties as assigned None required Physical Demands / Environmental Factors While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear Requires working in dusty and noisy indoor and outdoor conditions Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Requires working in a physical environment that will expose employee to extreme weather conditions Requires working for long periods of time while standing Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
