Lab Tech (lab/construction exp preferred)

What You'll Do

• Receive and document client samples, ensuring accuracy and proper record-keeping.
• Prepare specimens for testing and conduct assigned tests with impartiality and precision.
• Maintain lab equipment and facilities, performing routine maintenance to ensure smooth operations.
• Report testing data to our technical team and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate.
• Follow all lab protocols and safety policies to maintain a high standard of quality and safety. Skills We're Looking For:
• Strong attention to detail and a knack for accuracy in every task.
• Proficiency in using and maintaining lab equipment, as well as troubleshooting when necessary.
• Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) meticulously.
• Excellent organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. What You Bring:
• Some post-secondary education in Laboratory Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
• Construction or experience using hand tools.
• Previous lab and/or construction experience is highly preferred.
• A self-motivated attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working with hand and power tools.
• Prolonged periods of working at a computer or desk.
