JOB DESCRIPTION The FOX Nation live team is leading the industry in the streaming wars with coverage nearly 24/7 and seven days a week. The ideal candidate is a seasoned writer who is detail-oriented & excellent under pressure. A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Copyedit all descriptions & scripts under tight deadline pressure Check graphics and videos to ensure they match scripts Communicate critical story information with producers and managers Think outside the box to tell a story Understand the importance of utilizing and writing to video Operate as a team player Conduct thorough research on top stories WHAT YOU WILL NEED 2+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of skills and demonstrated experience.

Strong and accurate writing, research, and editorial skills Bachelor’s degree in journalism or a related field of study preferred, or equivalent experience Thorough knowledge of current events, U.S. politics, geopolitics, foreign policy, and history Strong news judgment Ability to manage breaking news and respond quickly as stories develop Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced news environment Copyedit all descriptions & scripts under tight deadline pressure Check graphics and videos to ensure they match scripts Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as the news cycle demands #LI-BC1 We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, gender identity, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.

We will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories consistent with applicable law. Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $60,000.00-75,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
