Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

University Home Care Inc is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Royal Oak, MI. In this role, you will provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to our clients, ensuring their health and well-being are maintained to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients following care plans and physician instructions.

• Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and progress.

• Administer medications and injections as prescribed.

• Collaborate with healthcare team members to plan and implement patient care.

• Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Current and valid LPN license in the state of Michigan.

• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience preferred.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.

• CPR certification is a plus.
