cmcmarkets.com . Role Overview This role will support the Head of Finance with the financial control, reporting and governance of a DFSA-authorised financial services entity.

Key responsibilities

Coordinate the month-end close, general ledger maintenance and balance sheet reconciliations. Prepare applicable UAE tax submissions, including Corporate Tax and VAT. Coordinate external audit requirements and respond to audit queries. Prepare statutory and applicable DFSA regulatory reports, ensuring figures reconcile to the accounting records.

Prepare internal management reports and explain material variances. Assist in developing and maintaining finance policies, procedures and controls. Provide FP&A support to the Head of Finance with budgeting and forecasts, as required. Experience and qualifications At least 3 years of relevant finance or accounting experience ; financial services experience is preferred.

DFSA-regulated firm experience is an advantage. Degree in accounting, finance or a related field; a professional accounting qualification is preferred. Good knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations and finance controls. UAE tax and financial systems experience is an advantage.
