POSITION: ECFE Teaching Assistant II LOCATION: Forest View Elementary STARTING RATE of PAY/RANGE: $17.98 -$21.78 The rate of pay is subject to change based on the bi-annual review of the school board. 1.75Hrs/day, 3 days per week and 93 days/yr LINK TO BENEFITS & OTHER COMPENSATION: General Benefits Policy Job Description: Forest Lake Area Schools is seeking caring and enthusiastic individuals to serve as Teaching Assistants in our Early Childhood Program for the 2026-2027 school year.

Teaching Assistants play an essential role in supporting classroom instruction, promoting a positive learning environment, and helping young children develop foundational skills in a nurturing setting. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside early childhood educators to assist with daily classroom activities, support individual and small group learning, and help maintain a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for preschool-aged children.

Any specific qualifications or licenses required? Preferred: Experience working with young children in an educational or care setting Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to take direction, collaborate with educators, and work as part of a team Patience, flexibility, and a genuine interest in early childhood education High school diploma or equivalent required Start Date: ASAP Application Deadline: Until Filled Additional information: Rate of pay is subject to change based on the bi-annual review of the school board.
