We invite high-calibre candidates to fill the Senior Electrical Design Engineer position in Selangor, Malaysia. LinkedIn: https://hk.linkedin.com/company/leighton-asia-india-and-offshore Job Duties Review electrical schematics, specifications, and IFC drawings for utility intakes, substations, transformers, switchgear, UPS systems, and generators.

Conduct constructability reviews and BIM clash detection workshops to resolve design and spatial coordination issues. Coordinate with mechanical, civil, structural, architectural teams, and external consultants throughout project delivery. Evaluate technical submittals, vendor packages, and manage electrical subcontractors during installation works.

Manage RFIs, technical queries, design changes, commissioning support, and project handover activities Job Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. Minimum 10 years of electrical engineering experience, preferably in data centre or mission-critical environments. Strong knowledge of critical power systems, including HV/LV distribution, Tier III/IV redundancy, UPS, generators, earthing, and lightning protection.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and engineering review tools, with knowledge of BIM coordination using Revit and Navisworks. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
