Senior Software Engineer-Tableau Development, SQL Data Analytics

Job Location: Dubai, UAE Work Mode: Onsite – 5 Days Work From Office Employment Type: Full-Time Experience: 5–8 Years Notice Period: Immediate to 30 Days Shift: Day Shift Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain complex Tableau dashboards. Build and manage Tableau dashboards as part of the Data Engineering team.

Work on data analytics and generate meaningful business insights using Tableau and advanced SQL. Develop dashboards using Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server. Implement graph customization and advanced Tableau visualizations. Query and visualize large datasets while optimizing workbook and query performance. Translate complex business requirements into technical specifications and dashboard solutions.

Investigate production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement permanent solutions. Work closely with business and product owners to gather requirements and propose technical solutions. Provide estimates, plan deliverables, and track activities through closure. Apply industry best practices and standards for dashboard and data development.

Develop and execute adequate test cases before releasing solutions to business users. Participate in iterative review cycles and incorporate stakeholder feedback. Maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail. Mandatory Skills 5+ years of overall experience in BI & Data Analytics. Minimum 3 years of hands-on Tableau Platform Development experience.

Strong experience in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server. Tableau Server 2023.1 experience is preferred. Strong Tableau dashboard development and maintenance experience. Experience with graph customization and advanced visualizations. Strong Advanced SQL skills with experience handling large/bulk data volumes. Strong understanding of SQL and Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS).

Good knowledge of data modeling and normalization. Experience with Tableau performance optimization. Strong understanding of advanced calculations and statistical functions. Working knowledge of Tableau Administration / Architecture. Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Location & Relocation This is a 100% onsite position in Dubai, UAE, with 5 days of work from office. Candidates currently based outside Dubai may be considered if they: Are willing and ready to relocate to Dubai. Possess a valid passport. Can provide acknowledgement confirming their willingness to work onsite 5 days a week in Dubai.
