Dietary Aide - Fulltime

Job Details: Job Location: Windsor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Harlingen

• Harlingen, TX, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Job Shift: Flex, Primary Responsibilities The Dietary Aide follows the direction of the Certified Dietary Manager and state guidelines to ensure that food is properly prepared, served to residents, and after meals are completed cleanup of the dining hall and dishes.

Essential Functions

Assist with food prep and cooking following universal precautions and state/federal regulations Preparing and serving beverages Setting up and passing trays for meal service Stocking snack cart Bussing of tables and trays Cleaning the kitchen work area Dishwashing Follow proper handwashing guidelines Additional special projects or tasks can be assigned at times by the CDM or the Executive Director Qualifications: Educational/Training Requirements High School diploma or equivalent preferred Licensing Requirements Must have Texas Food Handler Certificate Experience Requirements Working in a commercial kitchen experience is preferred Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative but not necessary all inclusive, of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
