Job Details: Job Location: PLANT 3

• Gastonia, NC, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Our maintenance position is a key role in daily operations. The person will maintain facilities and equipment by performing multiple tasks, will report directly to the maintenance manager. KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATOR: Perform checkups on machines Perform all maintenance and reparations as needed. Keep up with preventative maintenance schedules. Assist all production personnel with general daily tasks. Ensure safety in and around the building and grounds. Maintain safety stock for inspection items, slitting blades, sewing machine parts, etc. Maintain boilers, compressor, steam generator, ESP’s according to maintenance and blow down schedules. Check water meters. Ensure quick and safe repair on defective items in factory, use local contractors to supplement when approved by leadership. Maintain and check calibration books for scales and yardage counters. Help with production when needed: Tented Frames Dyehouse De-twister Material Handling Batching/Sitting Any other task assigned by any member of the Mgt. Team KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision Excellent hands-on mechanical aptitude Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings in both standard and metric systems Good communication skills Ability to work during non-peak, off scheduled shift and overtime as needed Ability to learn and analyze Desire to contribute to the company’s continuous improvement process Must always maintain a professional attitude and appearance Qualifications: Minimum education requirements Able to read and write in English Previous experience with Maintenance in an industrial environment Have and maintain a valid driver’s license and driving record free of chargeable accidents, speeding or other moving violations Must provide your own basic tools Physical abilities to stand, walk and kneel on concrete floors, climb ladders, lift up to 75 lbs. safely without assistance, reach above head and have flexibility to twist and turn in tight places Must use PPE per company policy while performing certain task Must comply with all safety, quality and production requirements and instructions Must comply with all company policies and rules
