Assistant Purchasing Manager

Your Role

Support the Business Unit's procurement activities throughout the procurement lifecycle, ensuring operational efficiency and business requirements are met. Manage and enhance procurement systems, departmental websites, and digital solutions to improve procurement and warehouse operations. Drive process improvement initiatives and implement system enhancements to improve workflow efficiency and project delivery.

Act as the key contact point for procurement system users, coordinating with IT and stakeholders to resolve issues and support system enhancements. Develop procurement dashboards, reports, and data analysis to support management decision-making. Conduct spend analysis, vendor performance analysis, and procurement reporting to identify improvement opportunities.

Ensure procurement operations and system processes comply with corporate policies, safety regulations, and quality standards. To Succeed in This Role Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in procurement systems, business analysis, digital solutions, or procurement operations.

Strong knowledge of databases, SQL, MS Office applications, SharePoint, and web technologies such as HTML, ASP, JavaScript, or similar platforms. Experience in system enhancement, workflow automation, reporting, and data analytics. Good understanding of procurement processes, spend analysis, and supplier management. Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of Power BI, Power Automate, Python, or similar technologies will be an advantage.
