MEP BIM Modeler (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing – Revit Specialist) Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled MEP BIM Modeler to develop fully coordinated 3D models for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems. This role requires strong hands-on experience modeling HVAC, electrical, fire protection, and plumbing systems using Autodesk Revit (MEP tools mandatory) and coordination tools such as Navisworks.
You will play a critical role in delivering clash-free, construction-ready MEP models aligned with international standards (US / UK / AU projects preferred).
Key Responsibilities
Mechanical (HVAC) Model ductwork, chilled water piping, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, and equipment Prepare HVAC layout drawings and sections Size ducts and pipes based on engineer markups Electrical Model cable trays, conduits, lighting, and power systems Develop panel schedules and single-line diagrams (as directed) Coordinate lighting layouts and equipment placement Plumbing & Fire Protection Model water supply, drainage, and vent systems Model sprinkler systems and fire protection piping Prepare isometric drawings for installation General Responsibilities Develop LOD 200–400 MEP models Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks Coordinate with architectural and structural disciplines Generate shop drawings and spool drawings Extract quantities and prepare BOQs Update models based on RFIs and design revisions Follow BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and client standards Maintain organized and accurate project documentation Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field 3–6 years of MEP BIM modeling experience Strong proficiency in: Autodesk Revit (MEP tools mandatory) AutoCAD Navisworks Solid understanding of: HVAC systems Electrical distribution systems Plumbing & Fire Protection systems Experience working on US / UK / AU construction projects preferred Knowledge of NEC, ASHRAE, IPC, or relevant codes is a plus Preferred Skills Experience with Autodesk BIM 360 / ACC Participation in clash reports and coordination meetings Knowledge of Dynamo scripting Revit family creation experience Understanding of construction sequencing and site coordination Core Competencies Strong attention to detail Technical coordination expertise Ability to work under deadlines Clear communication with engineers and project managers Strong problem-solving mindset Performance KPIs Delivery of clash-free coordinated MEP models On-time submission of shop drawings Less than 5% model revision rate due to modeling errors Full compliance with client BIM standards Call to Action If you are a detail-oriented MEP BIM professional with strong Revit coordination experience, we want to hear from you.
