Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time School Social Worker to support students in a K–12 school setting in Greeley, CO. In this role, you’ll provide social-emotional support, assist with family engagement, offer crisis intervention, and collaborate with educators and school teams to help students succeed. This is a great opportunity for both new and experienced clinicians who are passionate about making a meaningful impact, building relationships with students, and supporting their overall well-being and success throughout their educational journey.

Why Join Us Competitive pay (Up to $58/hour) + steady school-year schedule W-2 employment with liability insurance included Healthcare benefits* + 401(k) with company match Reimbursement for licensure, CEUs, and professional expenses Mileage reimbursement between sites + referral bonuses What You’ll Do Provide individual and group counseling to support student mental health and social-emotional development Support crisis intervention, de-escalation, and safety planning as needed Participate in IEP, MTSS, and student support team meetings Conduct assessments related to social-emotional and behavioral needs Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers Support attendance, engagement, and wraparound services for students and families Assist in developing and implementing intervention plans Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation Connect families to community resources and supports What We’re Looking For Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field Valid Colorado CDE Special Services Provider license with School Social Worker endorsement (or eligibility by start date) Strong communication, collaboration, and crisis response skills School-based experience preferred, not required Passion for supporting students’ mental health and well-being About Ampersand Therapy Ampersand Therapy is a women-, minority-, and therapist-owned company built by providers who understand school-based work.
