In addition to a competitive rate of pay, RA currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay. Description: As an Instructor, you will be an expert practitioner and key educator in support of both nursing staff and the multi-disciplinary clinical team.

You will take a leadership role in the planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of education for nursing staff including orientation, compulsory and continuing education, and clinical development. You will collaborate with management and internal partners to promote standards of clinical, educational and evidence informed practice.

You will play a key role in providing safe, quality patient and family centered care while reflecting the shared vision and values of Recovery Alberta. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support

• Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP). Additional Required Qualifications: Minimum five years nursing experience in acute or rural nursing settings.

Preferred Qualifications

A master’s degree in healthcare is preferred. ACLS, TNCC, or other trauma related nursing is an asset. Experience teaching, mentoring or leading a team is an asset.
