Instructional Paraprofessional (IPP)

INSTRUCTIONAL PARAPROFESSIONAL Location: Burlington Elementary School 0.5 FTE; 9-Months a year; Monday

• Friday; 4 hours/day Salary: $18.34/hour TRS Retirement; Vacation/Sick Leave
• Performs instructional activities as planned, assigned and organized by professional staff for individual and/or small groups of students
• Works with the teacher with students who need to learn positive behaviors in order to be successful in the classroom setting
• Helps in the selection, preparation and organization of materials appropriate to students' needs in accordance with designated lessons
• Collects data and reports student progress to the teacher
• Must have previous experience working with children
• Requires a High School graduate or equivalent
• Requires 60 semester/90 quarter college credits or successful completion of the Work. Keys Test to meet requirement of ESSA. (To take the Work.
