Job Summary

The Water Treatment Operator is responsible for monitoring, operating, maintaining, and servicing one or more drinking water treatment plants to ensure their proper functioning. Your Main Responsabilities Monitor water treatment equipment (filters, pumps, reservoirs), perform meter readings, manage chemical product inventories, and carry out water quality analyses and tests.

Perform troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance on installations, verify measuring instruments, and maintain hydraulic networks and assigned equipment. Adjust operational parameters based on analyses and raw water quality, inspect works carried out, and participate in facility visits. Maintain logs, reports, and intervention sheets, and promptly report any anomalies.

Apply all regulatory and safety guidelines. Provide supervision in the absence of direct management (e.g., absence of the sector manager). This position requires thorough knowledge of drinking water networks, leak detection techniques, and associated measurement tools. It also demands the ability to interpret consumption data, respond quickly in emergency situations, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Your Profile

Diploma in Electromechanics or Maintenance, or in Water Professions, with technical or professional training in water treatment, environmental engineering, chemical engineering, or equivalent professional experience. Relevant work experience : Prior experience in operating drinking water or wastewater treatment facilities, electromechanical maintenance, or treatment processes.
