Job description
Agency: Omnicom Media Job Function: Media Job Subfunction: Media Planning and Buying Job Description: Overview As an entry level role, the Associate is responsible for working with the Performance Video Strategy & Planning team in the development of video plans. In this position, you will assist in gathering and preparing information for plan development, plan stewardship, and performance reporting.
Qualifications
Interest in the principles of advertising, marketing and media Analytical thinking with a competency in mathematical concepts Works well in a team environment Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PPT Ability to learn media tools and software Ability to write clearly and concisely, as well as communicate and interact professionally Responsibilities: Gather data to support media recommendations through syndicated research tools, target audience analyses, and competitive reports, etc.
Assist in the execution of the media plan by crosschecking traffic orders and instructions with creative matrices Pull weekly results from various platforms and build out digestible views for client performance reporting Ensure accurate and timely client billing through rigorous verification protocols Measure media performance to determine the extent to which the original objectives were met Participate in client and publisher meetings with opportunities to develop presentation skills Attend learning & development training classes Attend internal and external meetings and presentations Prepare and distribute weekly status reports
New Jersey, New York: $30,000.00-$60,000.00 Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom’s corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
