Contract Specialist I

Alluvionic is seeking a Contract Specialist I who will assist the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) with various government contracts. This position will liaise with Federal Employees, Contractors, and Divisions throughout the U.S. Marshals Service. *Must be a U.S. Citizen. * Must be able to undergo and pass a Public Trust background investigation.

Responsibilities

Conduct contract reviews, assist in cradle-to-grave operations, call order modifications, and close-outs Will be required to input contracts, task orders, and purchase orders into the Unified Financial Management System (UFMS) Assist Government contracting officers with large and small purchase contract actions Review solicitation packages for completeness Advise and provide program offices with examples of documents to be contained in a solicitation package Required Qualifications : Bachelor's degree with at least 24 hours of business credit Recent Federal Contracting Officer/Specialist Experience is required At least four (4) years of related working experience demonstrates that the candidate meets the duties mentioned above and responsibilities Must possess advanced knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR 8, 12, and 15.
