Guest Relations Officer Location: Eastern Cape Property: Luxury Private Game Reserve Salary: Negotiable depending on experience | Live-in A luxury private game reserve is seeking a polished and guest-focused Guest Relations Officer to support the daily lodge operations and deliver exceptional service to guests.

Requirements

Hotel Management Diploma, Certificate or equivalent qualification 1–2 years’ experience in a Front of House or similar position within a 5-star lodge or luxury hospitality environment Excellent spoken English with a professional and presentable manner Strong guest relations and hosting skills, with Butler experience advantageous Good knowledge of Food & Beverage Service, Housekeeping and Front Office operations Computer literate, including intermediate-level Excel Knowledge of Lightspeed, Sage Evolution and Protel advantageous Driver’s Licence preferred Strong attention to detail, common sense and a customer-focused approach Ability to work effectively as part of a team Key Responsibilities Support the Lodge or Assistant Manager with the daily operation of the lodge Conduct housekeeping checks according to set standards Assist with restaurant operations before and during meal services Support service staff and ensure service standards are consistently maintained Check meal standards before dishes leave the kitchen Manage guest check-ins and check-outs and attend to guest requests throughout their stay Arrange additional services and supplies as requested by guests Communicate operational issues, variances and improvement ideas to senior lodge management Assist with stock counts and weekly and monthly reporting If you do not hear from us within 7 working days, kindly consider your application unsuccessful.
