CMM Programmer

RAM Precision Industries is seeking a skilled CMM Programmer to join our team in creating high-quality precision parts for various industries. The ideal candidate will have experience with coordinating and programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to inspect and verify the accuracy of machined parts.

Responsibilities

• Analyze blueprints, CAD models, and other technical drawings to create CMM programs for inspection purposes
• Utilize CMM software to develop measurement routines and generate reports
• Perform dimensional inspections on machined parts using various measuring instruments
• Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and quality control staff to ensure compliance with specifications and standards
• Maintain and calibrate CMM equipment to ensure accurate and reliable measurements
• Identify and troubleshoot issues related to measurement accuracy or equipment functionality
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy of inspections Qualifications: - 3+ years of experience programming and operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)
• Proficiency in CMM software programs, such as Calypso
• Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
• Knowledge of various measuring instruments and metrology techniques
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
