Responsibilities
Analyze financial and operational data to provide actionable insights supporting plant performance and decision-making. Prepare and post journal entries, run SAP reports, and support month-end and year-end close activities. Monitor and reconcile accounts including intercompany transactions, tooling P&L tracking, and other balance sheet reconciliations.
Oversee petty cash and purchasing card activity to ensure accuracy, compliance, and proper documentation. Support budgeting, forecasting, government reporting, and audit processes (including physical inventory and year-end audits). Develop reports, presentations, and dashboards (SAP, BI, PowerBI) for leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
Partner cross-functionally and across sites to provide financial analysis, while supporting continuous improvement and training of junior analysts/interns.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. 2+ years of experience in accounting or financial analysis; manufacturing environment preferred. Strong understanding of P&L, cost accounting, and financial analysis principles. Experience with SAP and financial reporting tools (e.g., Business Intelligence, PowerBI; Hyperion preferred for senior-level candidates).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally, communicate financial insights, and influence decision-making. Career progression mindset with readiness to grow into a Controller or Junior Controller role within 6–24 months. Starting at $105,000.
Compensation
for this position will be determined by the candidate's qualifications, experience, education, and overall alignment with the role's responsibilities.
