Zuern - Allenton| Yard Material Handler

We have five expansive facilities with complete showrooms in Allenton, Cedarburg, Franklin and Watertown.

Zuern Building Products & Design Center is currently looking for the right person to join our Yard Customer Service and Material Handling team at our Allenton location. This is a full-time position.

Must be available Monday through Friday and occasional Saturdays until 12pm. This role offers the right candidate the potential to develop new skills with career advancement opportunities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time. Loading of materials to be delivered. Load customer orders that are processed from inside sales counter. Stock and maintain product in bins.

Put away stock and special order returns. Organize, stock and maintain other storage sheds. Basic housekeeping. ie: sweep aisles, straighten piles, pick up scraps. Care of product against damage. Attention to safety procedures at all times. Driving or delivery when needed. Attention to detail and accuracy in loading the correct product.

Lock up yard at the end of each day. Other duties upon request by a manager/owner.

Requirements

Forklift certification required Excellent customer service skills. Ability to lift and carry 25 to 75 pounds on a consistent basis. Possible weight of 100 pounds and over at times. Alert, focused and detail-oriented.
