Direct Support Professional (DSP) Make a difference every day at Harry Meyering Center! Job Purpose Harry Meyering Center (HMC) supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. As a Direct Support Professional, you'll help individuals build independence, work toward personal goals, and enjoy meaningful experiences.

• Flexible Scheduling Schedules Available: Part-time and full-time opportunities, ranging from 8–40 hours per week Morning, evening, and overnight shifts Every-other-weekend availability required Additional holiday and fill-in shifts available What You’ll Do: Provide respectful, individualized care. Assist with personal cares. (dressing, bathing, feeding, etc.) Support daily living activities. (cooking, cleaning, laundry) Participate in community outings. (bowling, shopping, movies, exercise) Follow health, safety, and HIPAA guidelines. Complete documentation and other assigned tasks.

Qualifications

At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Ability to pass a Minnesota DHS Background Study. Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn. Previous experience as a DSP, CNA, PCA, caregiver, or in a similar role is helpful but not required. No previous experience?
