The Opportunity An established surveying and geospatial consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Geospatial Engineer to join its growing team in Kent. This is a key role for an individual who enjoys a mix of hands-on surveying, data processing, and mentoring junior staff, while helping to maintain high technical and delivery standards across projects.
You’ll work across a varied project portfolio, supporting developments in residential, industrial, and heritage sectors, and play an important part in the continued growth of the team and client base.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, manage, and process geospatial data to meet project requirements Produce high-quality drawings using AutoCAD / BricsCAD Deliver measured building surveys, including floor plans, elevations, and sections Undertake land, engineering, setting-out, and monitoring surveys Carry out laser scanning and data registration using Leica Register Process survey data using N4CE Mentor and support junior and mid-level surveyors Ensure accuracy and consistency from site work through to final deliverables Maintain compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and H&S requirements Collaborate with internal teams to integrate geospatial data into wider project outputs Requirements Experience & Skills Required Minimum 8 years’ experience in geospatial engineering or land surveying Strong proficiency in N4CE, Leica Register, AutoCAD / BricsCAD Experience leading and delivering complex surveying projects Proven background in laser scanning across multiple sectors Demonstrable project management experience Solid understanding of Health & Safety across a range of site environments Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to mentor, guide, and support team members Benefits What’s on Offer Competitive salary of £30,000 – £45,000, depending on experience Long-term, permanent opportunity Varied and interesting project workload Opportunity to help shape and develop a growing surveying team Exposure to projects across all sectors
