There may be an opening that we have not posted yet. We are looking for a DELI ASSOCIATE to join our Rowe's team. The purpose of this position is to ensure the quality, freshness and product assortment is maintained in the deli department. This person will be receiving, stocking, and rotating product, taking special orders, and providing exceptional customer service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

& RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide exceptional service including greeting customers and answering questions, with a positive attitude.
• Fills, maintains, and rotates products and displays
• May operate a slicer, hot oven, fryer, microwave, cutting tools, scale, and other Deli equipment.
• Maintain excellent standards of sanitation and freshness
• Assists in other duties as assigned.
• Follow established departmental and store policies and procedures
• Assists as needed to ensure the success of the store.

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to deliver friendly and prompt customer service.
• Ability to read, write, and do simple math.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work well with others and work well as a team
• A passion for serving others
• Food Prep experience is preferred PHYSICAL/SENSORY DEMANDS: Deli associates perform their duties primarily in the Deli section. Work involves walking, bending, standing, lifting, and carrying products up to 60lbs, hand-eye coordination, and interaction with customers and associates.
