Join our dedicated staff as a Cook / Chef The Ridge Foothill is looking for a caring individual with cooking experience to join us in our passion for helping seniors. Our Cooks / Chefs prepare three meals a day for our residents following prepared menus and recipes. If you have a special recipe, we'd love that you'd share that with us, too.

An employee assistance program that is free of charge Qualifications – Cook / Chef at The Ridge Foothill Two (2) years of professional kitchen experience preferred, with a solid foundation in safe food handling, sanitation, and proper equipment use Experience in fine dining, scratch cooking, batch cooking, and banquet production highly preferred Culinary degree or formal culinary training a plus Strong knife skills and an eye for consistent, restaurant-quality plating A positive, can-do attitude and the flexibility to step into a variety of roles across the kitchen A true team player who communicates well and supports fellow cooks, servers, and staff Dependable and punctual, with a commitment to showing up ready to work when scheduled Ability to read, write, and speak English to follow recipes, production sheets, and safety guidelines Genuine care for hospitality and a desire to create memorable dining experiences for our residents About The Ridge Senior Living – The mission of The Ridge Senior Living is to consistently craft a living experience that seniors can’t get anywhere else.
