  • KKC Hiring Manager: Brady Dick Required Shift: Shift: 1st (days) Schedule: Monday- Friday Hours: 7am- 3:30pm (flexible pending business needs) Description of Role: The Sachet General Relief Operator role is responsible for operating fillers, sachet packaging equipment, and related production systems while ensuring product quality, sanitation, safety, and operational efficiency. They will be responsible for troubleshooting and optimizing equipment performance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. What are we looking for? Minimum Requirements (Internal only) OAP or cross-bid form submitted Most recent performance rating or on track for a “Meets Expectations” or higher No active disciplinary actions Reliable attendance record Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification Physical Requirements: Can perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation. Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs) and pushing/pulling (50-300 lbs) Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, handling, and gripping. Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, lean over equipment, and operate in confined spaces. Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods, with shifts lasting 12 hours Capable of working in hot, cold and wet conditions Proficient in understanding, communicating, reading, and writing in English.

Preferred Qualifications

Technical degree or certifications Equipment operation and basic maintenance knowledge Experience operating packaging, filler, or manufacturing equipment Experience in food manufacturing or other regulated production environments Familiarity with manufacturing systems such as JDA / Blue Yonder, Wonderware, or Weever Knowledge of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles What will be your Key Responsibilities?

Operate and monitor filler and sachet packaging equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production Perform routine operational tasks including start-ups, shut-downs, cleaning, inspections, sanitation activities, and product changeovers Monitor equipment performance and take corrective action to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and perform basic repairs and adjustments as needed Complete assigned CIL’s/CL tasks and support equipment reliability efforts Ensure adherence to food safety, sanitation, GMP, and manufacturing best practices Conduct and document required production, quality, and safety checks accurately and timely Monitor production lines and escalate downtime, safety, or quality concerns when necessary Coordinate material flow, trailer changes, and production support activities as required Support production planning activities including scheduling, changeovers, waste reduction, and line readiness Support onboarding and training of new team members Proficiently perform Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures to ensure safe operation and maintenance of all equipment
